Welcome to Dorset Malayalee Association

Welcome to DMA, It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to this site and thank all our members for the cooperation, extended to the association for its success and continued growth. Dorset Malayalee Association had originated with 5 or 6 families in 2002 and has now grown to its present strength of more than 100 families, who settled here from different parts of Kerala. Our members are from towns like Poole, Boscombe, Charminister and Bournemouth in Dorset County of Southwest England. Dorset County is located on the extreme south shore of UK with lots of natural landscapes, beaches and tourist attractions.

Our main objective as an Association is to ensure that, our children should interact or observe with others from their own background and in the process learn, develop and preserve the uniqueness of our culture and traditions. We have 3 main gatherings in every year that represent each of our festivals like Christmas/New Year, Vishu/Easter and Onam.

In addition, a picnic to some of the scenic spots in England is also organised yearly. Our members contribute to all of these events showcasing their individual talents to enrich our programmes..
